TUTORIAL: How to Make a Sparkle Star Garland : Tips & Video

(This blog post is kind of meant to be a companion to the video. My apologies if anything is unclear, this is my first video! Questions and comments are welcome!)

Materials

  • 12 x 12″ sparkle paper (scrapbook section of most craft stores) $2/sheet
  • paper punch  $10
  • scissors  (I’m assuming you have scissors)
  • tacky glue  $3
  • matching thread  $3
  • sewing machine  (I’m assuming you have one, otherwise this item will jack up the cost considerably)

Project Time: about 1.5 hr
Approximate Cost: $18 (assuming you don’t have a paper punch but already own a sewing machine or have access to one)
